  3. How To Select The Right Glassware For Your Drinking Experience
drinking experience

If you want to ensure your customers receive the perfect drinking experience, then keep reading. As time has gone on, we have seen the variety of glassware increase which has made selecting the best glass for your preferred drink a near impossible task.

A report in 2015 in Chemistry World showed that the type of glassware you use will impact the taste due to the shape of the glass. Japanese researchers mapped the concentration distribution of alcohol leaving a glass and found that both temperature and shape impacted this invisible flow.

We have put together the glassware most suited to your preferred beverage: -

Cognac - Riedel Glassware

A lover of Cognac? Riedel have a glass that was made specifically for this drink. It is lead free, machine made and shaped for the enjoyment of Cognac. Situated in the Restaurant range, these glasses have proven to consumers and restauranteurs that wine pleasure and appreciation starts with the glass.They are extremely functional and high in the quality that Riedel is known for.

Fun fact: The ideal temperature for cognac being served is between 15 and 18°C. If the cognac is too warm it will evaporate too quickly losing taste and flavour.

Beer Storage Tips

Maximise your beer enjoyment with these tips by Bottleneck Management;

Store your beer upright.

- This reduces the likelihood of contamination from the cap.

Store your beers below room temperature.

- A warm shelf will accelerate the rate at which beer loses freshness.

Store your beers in the dark.

- Beers become 'sulfurous' when they are touched by sunlight. This is why some companies choose to use brown bottles - they block the most light and protect the beer as much as possible. This is also why kegs do not have windows.
