  3. Go green: with energy efficient appliances
blog feature 30
Switch to energy efficient appliances and you won't just be doing the planet a favour, you'll cut down on your overheads too. Read on to find out how…

Going green is the latest buzzword for businesses up and down the country. But why is being energy efficient so important? Well, reducing your energy consumption cuts bills, improves how your current and potential customers perceive your business and is also good for the planet. Add to this a number of government-backed schemes to encourage businesses to reduce their environmental impact, and you'll find there's plenty of reason to go over to the green side.

Statistically 4-6 per cent of a business' operating costs can be attributed to energy usage, so consider replacing those energy gobbling machines with a more energy efficient model and watch those revenue and profit margins increase.

The government are keen on energy efficient appliances too. In fact, through the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) Scheme you could enjoy enhanced tax relief on any investment you make in equipment that meets its energy-saving criteria.

You probably don't need much more convincing that energy efficient appliances are the way forward. And just to make it easy, we've picked out a few for you to consider…

What's cookin'?

Take a look at our SCC Whitefficiency Combination Ovens - they're perfect for cooking up a feast in and also minimise consumption of resources like time, energy, space, water and raw materials.
