Lockhart Catering Equipment Delivers On Aston Villa's Rapid Catering Transformation

Lockhart Catering Equipment has completed it's part of a complete hospitality makeover at Aston Villa Football Club within a challenging timeline of under 6 months.

Following the teams' success at securing the final spot in the Champions League, AVFC's catering team were tasked with revamping all 18 of its on-site hospitality areas in under 6 months. Glen Mills, Head Chef at AVFC promptly turned to Lockhart Catering Equipment and Compass Group to rise to this challenge, as he explains:

"We liaised with Hannah and Christina from Lockhart Catering Equipment to organise all our CCG, buffet-ware, and kitchen equipment. Given the tight turnaround time of 3 months to do this, they acted swiftly and efficiently, organising a showcase event in just 4 days, meetings with suppliers, detailed spreadsheets with quantities split into each area, and made excellent recommendations. They even went as far as to come along to the scheduled delivery days to unbox and distribute around the stadium, and helped turn the dishwasher to prewash all the CCG. Seriously, nothing was too much trouble, and if ever I was tasked with a project of this size again, Lockhart would be the only company I'd ever trust and would want to deal with."

From initial contact in March 2024, to orders place in June and delivery in August, the AVFC project has been a great demonstration of how streamlined and efficient a catering redesign can be.
