Chef Highlights In Pics: The Movers & Shakers From The 2nd #LondonKitchenSocial

We love highlighting the Chefs we welcome into the London Innovation Centre and the latest London Kitchen Social from Pavlova & Cream food photography was no exception. With a guest appearance from MyLegoman, a fun-based foodie account on Instagram, where there was cooking, networking, fun & plonking pieces of plastic in pastry! From our monthly Chef Insight Series with previous & current #NCOTY finalists, to a new venture with food photography company Pavlova & Cream and their networking & cooking event; the London Kitchen Social, we're always open to collaborating with new initiatives and utilising our London showroom for something new & exciting. As a result, we feel it's important to showcase the talents of every Chef that walks through these doors, and below you'll find some of the dish highlights from the event held on 4th June 2019.

About London Kitchen Social

London Kitchen Social brings chefs and brands together through food photography creating a different style of networking. It exists to provide an affordable platform for new and emerging chefs, as well as other producers and developers in the food industry, to showcase their work and produce through top quality photography and social media promotion and interaction. About Majella O'Connell: Pavlova & Cream ???? Majella is a London-based photographer who is known in the industry for creating stunning high-quality food images. She has been commissioned by a wealth of high profile food and restaurant clients including Hakkasan, Tim Allen's Flitch of Bacon and most recently Adam Handling. Majella's other area of expertise is digital marketing which she utilises for both herself and a number of prestigious clients including a leading London caterer, restaurants and hotels. She has been in the hospitality industry for over 23 years, starting in Manchester for the then famous JW Johnsons, that developed to become Living Ventures. @pavlovaandcream ??

Mylegoman

"I am obviously a little bit different to the standard. This started at an early age I guess, if I explain that I have a joint honours degree in Art and Biology that might explain a lot? I wanted to become a graphic designer, leaving university with all the skills to do that, but I didn't think the internet would catch on so trained to be science teacher! A job I very much enjoyed until I turned into one of those moaning staffroom types who had seen it all. When given the opportunity to go it alone I jumped at the chance to readjust the balance between my love of science and art."

James bemused by a carrot top... well you would be... wouldn't you... having spent a while preparing the fabulous carrot the green bit is always the worry! The real stars of the event are the Chefs, cooking up their latest wares using the finest fresh produce from local companies eager to be involved in the networking & fun of a London Kitchen Social. From Fairfax London (London's Premier Butcher supported by the UK's Leading Catering Butcher. Purpose-built to better serve London hospitality) providing fantastic cuts of meat, to Smith & Brock (Expertly selected, proudly delivered) highlighting the latest seasonal vegetables to complement each dish.
